I’m a consultant psychiatrist in Srinagar and the founder of NAFS Brain & Behavior Clinic. [Qualifications,  MD Psychiatry.] I see adults with anxiety, depression, stress, sleep problems and mood disorders, and I have a special interest in women’s mental health. I believe care begins with being heard. At NAFS, I try to understand who a person is, what they have lived through and what they need, beyond a label or a diagnosis. I combine compassion with evidence-based treatment, in a calm, confidential and non-judgmental space.
